The Assembly Rooms

The Assembly Rooms was established in 2004 by Nik Hindson and Sam Rice-Edwards and has since grown into one of London’s leading film editing studios. We were brought on board to create its digital presence.

The Assembly Rooms’ work is all about the moment, the capture, the transition and the emotive reward when viewing edits. Our solution has been to craft a site that delivers content first, followed by subtle transitions, hinting at the craft employed by The Assembly Rooms.

Background video has been used to complement and reinforce the core proposition of editing through the site. The explore function is a great way to easily discover new content, as well as to showcase the breadth of work that The Assembly Rooms have achieved since inception.

Part of the site’s success is attributed to the fact that it works across all digital platforms. It’s a content managed site, that integrates reel production and is directly linked to bespoke email delivery.

The results strengthen The Assembly Rooms’ status a creative haven for directors, producers and agencies alike. Nik and Sam have retained the boutique feel of the studio, have grown into eight suites and an art gallery. All while expanding there national and international client base.
