As long term collaborators for Hello Beautiful, we were delighted to work on a commission of WOOBS (Wooden Boobs) for the Hello Love Festival taking place at Gallery Six from the 8th-11th October which is 4 days of cancer prevention workshops and holistic practise.
The festival is in collaboration with Stella McCartney who has designed and produce a mastectomy bra (as you may have seen modelled by Cara Delevinge). Jane Hutchison, who runs charity Hello Beautiful, caught the attention of the daughter of former Beatle Sir Paul, when they were introduced last summer.
Now Ms McCartney has designed some underwear especially for women who have had a double mastectomy which will be sold exclusively online.
All proceeds will go to the Hello Beautiful Foundation to help fund a new centre in London for women with breast cancer and their families.
Following on from our previous commission we worked on the strapline ‘There’s beauty in change’ – which quickly went on to become the mantra of everything for Hello Beautiful.
We created a mould of our original WOOB, and made an acrylic replica and fitted this over the laser engraved strapline ‘There’s beauty in change’ – the new WOOB enhancing the strapline and reinforcing the message.
All Woobs are up for auction – dig deep and lets make some good money for a very relevant and good cause. Everyone here at Planning Unit is very proud to help out such a great cause. Keep your eyes peeled for Hello Beautifuls plans in the coming months.
Its lovely to see our original great to see our original breast cast back out supporting the cause also.
